One of my favorite parts of getting ready for bed is brushing my teeth. Now that I have teeth, I need to do this regularly. I have a lot of fun with it. I can pretty much do it myself, though Mama insists on doing it some too. The only bad part is that Mama takes my toothbrush away at the end – that really makes me sad.

This week, I went to see the PGA Tour Championship, which is played just a block from my house. The course is the East Lake Countryclub, and there were many good players gathered. Mama got we dressed up in a sweet outfit from Grandma, and I have to admit, I looked good! The weather was fantastic, and Mama and Papa and I walked a long way under the blue, fall sky. We saw lots of people (with most of the guys wearing khaki shorts or pants, like me) walking the course and enjoying the sport.

Unfortunately, they don’t allow cameras or cell phones, so no pictures of me posing with the stars . I did get to watch them practicing and teeing off on a number of holes. We didn’t stay till the top ranked folks were playing (I fell asleep before that), but we still saw many good goofers.

Lucky for me, Papa carried me the whole day. He was a pretty good ride. We met some neighbors in the process and had a great day!

This weekend, our neighbors had their housewarming party. Mama, Papa, Robert and I went over to hang out. There were LOTS of kids and they ran around and had lots of fun together. I watched the fire, tiki torches, and lights. Also, they have a trampoline. Why didn’t anyone tell me about these things before?! Uncle Robert took me on it and it was great! It is like the tossing that I get plus the jumper in continuous motion. Weeeeeeeee

Recently Papa got pictures developed that he has taken over a long time. I saw pictures of us from when I was much smaller…just 4 months old. Now that I am almost 9 months old, I figure I must be getting old because when I look back on things I did in the past, it seems like a really long time ago. I mean, wow, who can remember that far back!?

Papa says that is when I first started to reach for things…and what I was reaching for was the spring leaves just emerging from the trees in the Rich Mountain wilderness area in North Georgia.

On that trip we also played in the stream – and that was great!!! I got into the water, played with Mama in the water, and took some good naps there.

Uncle Robert likes to take me around and show me fun things. He takes me on walks in the

neighborhood and the yard. He also likes to play in his truck. I think it is fun too and sometimes he even lets me sit in it!

I think it’s loads of fun, even if I do get dirty in the process.

Yesterday, I went with Mama, Papa, and Uncle Robert to the East Atlanta Village, where the roads were closed down for the annual Strut party, parade, and street fair. The day was gorgeous, as fall is just arriving. The streets were full with people and I was absorbed with all the stimulation. Lots of vendors around too (and I got some books from the local library book sale). We wandered through the Village enjoying the afternoon and running some errands along the way.

We saw several people who had been dressed up in the parade who were really strange looking. Example…the green tall people seen here.

We also saw lots of kids! I love to see kids and get very happy when I see them.

Playing with blocks is one of my most favorite things! I will do this for ages, as long as Mama or Papa (or anyone…) will keep building me towers of blocks, I will knock them down. I delight in it. Sometimes I use other blocks to bash the towers. Sometimes I pummel one side to ensure they shoot in one direction.

Recently Mama and Papa got me a nice rattle at the music store. I have a lot of fun with it. We make music and sing and sometimes dance too.

Mom and Dad are a bit slow in keeping up with me…I am getting stronger every day and learning new moves all the time. Recently I have both learned to push myself up to sitting from lying and also to pull myself up to standing.

I found this to be very useful when it came to play time. As you can see, I was able to get up and then into my toy box beside my play space. Dad found it hilarious that I was reaching in and tossing the good toys out for playing. Well, what would you expect!?

I really like bath time! I can even almost say bath…that “th” ending is a real toughie though. Anyway, bath time is always fun, especially when Mom makes it bubbly for me.
