Help me get a name
So I am nearly 4 months old and my wacky parents still have not given me a full name. I think they need some help. Here are some of the middle names they like. I would appreciate it if you could tell them which ones you like best and help them, suggest others…or maybe I can just be named “Alon” like Prince or Madonna.
Names (and meanings and/or origin)
Cato - The wise one, Latin
Renee - Rebirth, French
Raphael - Angel of healing, god has healed
Lucero - Light, morning star
Jasper/ Casper - Wise man, Persian
Keenan - wise learned
Roland - Famous Land
Denali - Great One
Kalil - Complete, Beautiful, Friend (depending on which language)

Alon,
When I look at names, I listen primarily for the sound of the name, the flow of it off the tongue - not so much the meaning. Of those which you listed, I prefer:
Keenan, Kalil and Raphael
Other possibilities might be:
Ethan = Firm, Strong
Ethaniel = combination of Ethan(firm, strong) and Nathaniel (gift of God)
Good luck. Let us know what your parents decide.

How about Glen(from the wooded valley) or Kenneth (handsome) or Robert(bright fame) grandpa Glen’s middle name or Linwood(version of Lynn) grandmother’s middle name or Rock( masculine form of Rochelle, French) of Sequoia( mighty redwood) Luigi(famous warior) Grandma Dyan’s nickname.
I hope there are some ideas there.

I like Kalil best. Although, I don’t have a middle name, and I rather like being unusual that way.

MICHAEL would be my suggestion. Being “like EL” is what this means. It’s a simple, easily digested name, but it has great power. Alon can be the esoteric side, Michael can APPEAR to be exoteric, but it has two sides.
I thought the short list are very interesting, multicultural names.

i suggest Michael is great, because then it would be Alon Michael and his uncle is Michael Allen. congrats, by the way!

I’m a big fan of Raphael (or Rafael) myself — it’s a beautiful name that exists in almost all European (and I believe some Semitic) languages.

I like Keenan the best of these.
I like Jamison.
JAMISON
Gender: Masculine
Pronounced: JAY-mi-sun
From a surname meaning “son of JAMES”. as in the son of Christopher James.
Alon Jamison…sounds good to me.

I am a little DNA driven when it comes to children’s names. so I would look into names that evoke the lineage of the family…the obvious is Tirza or Christopher or both…or is there an iconic grandparent or ancestor….
